Lives life in Santa Cruz, where she was raised. Her life has taken her to long stints in France, Italy and mostly San Francisco (the greatest city on Planet Earth!)
Spent 20+ years running her own creative agency that services high tech giants and startups alike in the Silicon Valley, producing print, web, mobile and multimedia.
Studied Art History at UCLA; continued in Bordeaux, France; wrapped it all up with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with an emphasis in Architecture at UCSC.
Discovered in recent years that her creative talent is perfectly suited for writer/illustrator endeavors and for passing along her love of words and art to young children.
Developed a love for cats when Pizza (the cat she so named at age 5) would follow her to school every morning and stop at the school grounds just before the bell rang.
Has always had a deep love of animals and developed an everlasting love for sloths from a PBS special on Velcro, a sweet, motherless baby sloth.
Anne Zoet is a freelance creative director for both technology giants and countless startups in the Silicon Valley. Her passions are art, words, travel, the environment and animals - all of which came together naturally in the creation of Purrball Meets Burball in Brazil. In addition to her human family, Zoet shares her home with three domestic cats (though sometimes she wonders if they're not just a bit wild).
